backup.award is looking for cinematic works characterized by a creative examination of different ways of expression and various production techniques that reflect and define the boundaries and possibilities of film.
The interplay of varying forms of media and methods, but also their influence on narrative, production and distribution chains are considered the center of this award. Present categorizations have to be left behind. Hybrid forms have to be created.

backup.clip.award
backup.clip.award wants experimental music video clips that create an unusual symbiosis of film and music by using miscellaneous media related production techniques.

Entries have to be submitted until the expiration of the deadline. They should include a preview and screening copy, stills, a list of the dialogues as well as a synopsis and a bio- and filmography.
