backup.award

The heart of the backup_festival are experimental short films which break open previous categorisations and produce hybrid forms. The contributions should excel by unusual ways of film making.

The backup.award awards cinematic works which reflect and define the borders and possibilities of cinematic formats by dealing creatively with different ways of production and modes of expression.

The backup.award seeks productions which stand out through their special narration, structure or aesthetics.
