We would like to take the pleasure of inviting you to Weimar for the backup_festival. From May 6–9, 2010, we promise that you will experience an interesting and stimulating program.

Unfortunately, accreditations cannot guarantee general entry to backup's events. The number of tickets and seating capacity for each program is limited. As a result, entry cannot be guaranteed if the seating capacity is exceeded. With accreditation, the entrance tickets for the individual events must be picked up from the ticket counter no later than half an hour before the beginning of the event.

Regulations

1. For participants and involved parties of our festival, accreditation is free of charge. A maximum of two people can be accredited per competition and forum or connect entry, for all others only one person per entry.

2. For members of the press, accreditation is likewise free of charge when they can submit proof of work for an employer, or of ongoing media work. Submission of a press ID is not sufficient.

3. For members of the sponsoring organisations of the backup_festival or the Bauhaus Film-Institute one accreditation per person is free of charge.

4. For all further accreditations, 15 Euro must be paid upon arrival.

5. Further accreditations are possible for persons dedicated to the promulgation of media culture, media economy, and their advancement and support and for members of the Bauhaus-University. This activity must be proved. A maximum of two representatives may be accredited from each institution or company.

6. Additionally, the accreditation of a maximum of three members of other universities per university is possible. Important: Registration of students always with private address and name of university, please.

7. Unfortunately, accreditations cannot guarantee general entry to backup’s events. The number of tickets and seating capacity for each program is limited. As a result, entry cannot be guaranteed when seating capacity is exceeded, particularly when one arrives later than fifteen minutes before the beginning of the event.

8. Accreditation deadline is April 22, 2010. Please send the necessary documents before this date (for example: proof of employer for press, proof of media activity, student ID, etc...) by fax or by mail to the festival address:
